ITINERARY
Day
1. Brisbane to Byron Bay
This morning we cruise through Surfers Paradise for a swim
and continue travelling through to the 40km of golden sands
known as the Gold Coast. Later discover the unique town
of Nimbin where hemp and hippy communes are a part of everyday
life. Take the time to explore the town including Candle
Factory, Hemp Embassy, Nimbin Museum and other points of
interest. Late afternoon we head south up the coast to chill
out at Byron Bay.
( Dorm accommodation included, meals at own expense).
Day
2. Byron Bay
A free morning to soak up the Byron Bay atmosphere! Ask
your guide for information on what to do in this iconic
beachside township. This afternoon, hook up with the crew
from Mojo Surf (some of Australia's best surf instructors)
whose mission is to get you standing on a board by the end
of this trip! You will start with a theory lesson on surfing
and then it's straight out to the beach to get you on a
board.
Overnight accommodation included (meals at own expense).

Day
3. Byron Bay to Surf Camp
Today we head to our secluded surf cam, located within walking
distance to spectacular white sandy beaches on the northern
NSW coast. This afternoon we again hit the surf for another
lesson, however if surfing is not for you, you may prefer
to relax on the white crystal sands or take a walk around
the beautiful headland. Tonight we have dinner and hang
out with the Mojo crew back at the Mojo Beach House. (D)
Day
4. Surf Camp to Barrington
After a delicious breakfast, hit the beach again for your
final surf lesson. By now you should have the basic surf
techniques sorted and some aspiring surfers in the group
will be turning at the base of clean breaking waves by the
end of this lesson! Everyone who participates in surf school
will be given a progressive surf certificate. In the afternoon
we drive to the Barrington River Lodge, an awesome property
located in remote bush land. Enjoy the wildlife and scenery
or perhaps try night river kayaking (at own expense) - an
activity for which this property is famous.
Overnight Barrington Tops (B)
Day
5. Barrington Tops to Sydney
This morning we explore the sub-tropical rainforest of the
Barrington River on a guided interpretive walk. Take in
the unique surroundings, learning about the flora and fauna
of the area. You may prefer to horse ride through the scenic
country side (at own expense) before we depart for Sydney
arriving in the early evening. (B)
